Ms. Sigmond celebrates more than 40 years of excellence in law

She began her career as assistant general counsel for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. In the years that followed, Ms. Sigmond has worked as an associate for Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler, Tunstead Schecter & Torre and Berman, Paley, Goldstein & Kannry.
Furthermore, Ms. Sigmond served of counsel at Pollack & Greene LLP before establishing her private practice in New York. She also found success as a partner at Kehl, Katzive & Sigmond and Dunnington, Bartholow & Miller. She additionally excelled as the principal of the Law Offices of Carol A. Sigmond and a partner at Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman PC. Ms. Sigmond is currently active as an attorney with Greenspoon Marder LLP.
In addition to her primary professional duties, Ms. Sigmond also flourished as an arbitrator as well as a member of the Lawyers Council of the Citizens Crime Commission of New York City. She has also been appointed as the vice president of the First Judicial District of the New York State Bar Association. Throughout her career, Ms. Sigmond has been incredibly proud of her induction as the president of the New York County Lawyers Association.
For her exemplary efforts over the years, Ms. Sigmond has received the Real Estate Section Award for Professionalism from the New York State Bar Association. She was likewise honored as the Mann Foundation Residential Real Estate Attorney of the Year in 2009. Ms. Sigmond is also recognized as a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the New York State Bar Foundation.
